We are about to put in a claim to Easyjet and wondered how you got on with this.

Easyjet flat refused to refund any costs and stuck rigidly to the legislation which mentions providing hotel accommodation until alternative flights can be provided.
I’m still waiting to hear from travel insurance but not holding out much hope.
